West Utility Tunnel

The West Utility Tunnel is essential for the continued viability of the original, western half of Building 10. Improvements include increased chilled water and steam capacity from the Super Tunnel, as well as upgraded power from the West Vault. Also notable is a concrete wall that separates the tunnel’s mechanical and electrical sides, and the tunnel’s height, which was built tall enough for technicians to comfortably walk through.
