Building 10 is a complex of buildings on the Bethesda campus that includes the new Mark O. Hatfield Clinical Research Center, the world's largest clinical research hospital. The original structure in the Complex was opened in 1955.
Building 10 2J Project
The 2J Project in Building 10 aims to design and construct a state-of-the-art current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) laboratory for the Department of Transfusion Medicine (DTM) to support the Clinical Center’s growing cellular therapy programs.
The project will convert approximately 7100 gross square feet into two ISO 7 large tissue culture rooms, three ISO 7 small tissue culture rooms, one ISO 7 Infectious Suite, supporting administrative space, complex mechanical spaces, an equipment room, and a freezer room.
