Phone Directory

Follow the steps below to update your NIH Enterprise Directory (NED) profile in order to update the ORF Phone Directory:


  1. Visit the NED Portal (login required).
  2. Update both your personal and work contact and title information under “Self Service – My record" - “Edit" -  “Personal".
  3. Edit the “Manage AlertNIH Notifications" section. Be sure that your contact information is entered under “Send AlertNIH notifications".
  4. Click Submit before exiting the NED Portal site.
  5. TO ADD OR REMOVE EMPLOYEES: Use the ORF Phonebook Application to search employees by name and/or Division, make edits, and add/remove as necessary.
    • Contact your Administrative Officer if you need help with entries and/or reach out to the Program Assistant in your Division with any requests for updates/revisions.
