Division of Facilities Stewardship (DFS)

​The Division of Facilities Stewardship  (DFS) is charged with assessing and understanding the condition of NIH real property assets and their systems, developing and overseeing plans, budgets, and projects and programs for correcting deficiencies, serving as technical experts relative to buildings and their systems.

Building Electrical Systems Branch – (BESB)
Acts as stewards of the electrical distribution systems to and within NIH owned buildings.
Building Mechanical Systems Branch – (BMSB)
Acts as stewards of the mechanical systems within NIH owned buildings.
Energy Management Branch – (EMB)
Improves the energy and water performance of NIH owned facilities.
Portfolio Assessment Reporting Branch (PARB) Facilities Information Management System (FIMS). Analyzes ORF data to make recommendations for improving performance.

Specialty Branch – (SB)
Managing building condition assessment program. Maintains central database to proposed and approved repair projects.
Clinical Center Complex Infrastructure Team  (CCCIT)
