RML Integrated Research Facility




The Rocky Mountain Laboratory (RML) Integrated Research Facility in Hamilton, MT is part of the nation's biodefense plan.  It provides 105,000 gross square feet of laboratory space, including a BSL4 suite laboratory and animal facility.  This suite also allows for BSL3ag research, BSL2 laboratory space, and administrative support space. 

Status:  Completing the final stage of construction with commissioning underway.



The Conversion of Building 7 project at the Rocky Mountain Laboratories (RML) in Hamilton, Montana will convert unused mechanical space to critical laboratory space needed by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) research program.  The exterior of the building will not change as it is in the historical district of our campus and cannot be altered for those reasons.

 

Status: Solicitation was issued 1 July, 2009 and proposals for Best Value award are due 14 August, 2009. Construction Period after award is 16 months.
